LITTLE ROCK — The Little Rock Police Department is asking for the local public’s assistance in locating missing 20 year old Ebby Jane Steppach out of the Little Rock, Arkansas area.
Ebby was last seen on October 24, 2015. She was 18 years old at the time and her vehicle was later found at Chalamont Park in west Little Rock. She was last heard from on October 25, 2015 by her brother via cell phone, sounding disoriented and stating that she was lost and did not know where she was. Her disappearance and lack of contact is not characteristic of Ebby.
As of June 27, 2017 a reward of up to $50,000 will be paid to the first individual who provides information directly leading to the location and current whereabouts of Ebby.
One of the four retired Homicide detectives working on Ebby’s case, Detective Tommy Hudson states “We believe there are people out there that were with Ebby a day or two prior to her disappearance that may have information about what happened to her or who she was with,” so it is imperative that anyone with information contacts police immediately.
A Facebook page has been created by Ebby’s close family called “Official: Find Ebby Steppach” if you wish to learn more about her disappearance.
Ebby is described as:
• GENDER: Female.
• ETHNICITY: Caucasian.
• HAIR: Blonde (could be dyed another color).
• EYES: Green/Hazel.
• HEIGHT: 5 feet 2 inches.
• WEIGHT: 110 pounds.
• OTHER: Tattoo of the phrase “through every dark night there is a brighter day” in script on her rib cage.
